How you will be billed
Your insurance company will be charged first. The insurance company usually takes 1-2 months to process the bill and pay their portion. After that you will receive an email for any amount that you owe (copay or coinsurance). Click the link in the email then enter your credit card information to pay online.
Have questions about your bill?
Your health insurance company may cover most of the cost of your appointment. Many insurance companies will require you to pay a copay or small portion of the cost. If you have a high deductible insurance plan you may have to pay a larger amount until you have met your deductible limit for the year. Contact your insurance company by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card for questions about why you owe this amount.
